Shannon R Joseph

Dr Shannon Joseph completed her PhD in the laboratory of Prof. Jennifer Stow at the Institute for Molecular Biology, UQ, analysing the trafficking of the adhesion molecule, E-cadherin. She currently is a key member in the lab of A Prof. Fiona Simpson, UQ Frazer Institute and her current research interests are focussed on intracellular protein trafficking, in particular how this relates to monoclonal antibody therapies for cancer treatment with overall aspirations to improve patient outcomes. Here she leads teams involved in translating this work into clinical trials and analysing how drug pharmacokinetics can be improved.
